"International demand for Russian military helicopters is growing steadily"
Helicopter sales remain among the most rapidly growing segments in Russia’s arms exports. Grigory Kozlov, head of the helicopter equipment and services export department at the state-run arms exporter Rosoboronexport, told Show Observer about the current status and future prospects of this market.
— How would you assess Russiaʼs positions on the international military helicopter market?
— International demand for Russian military helicopters is growing steadily. Last year, Rosoboronexport alone saw a 40% increase in deliveries, to the total of over $1.5 billion. This is the best evidence of Rosoboronexport’s successful performance as the dedicated arms exporter, and also of the popularity and high quality of Russian rotary-wing aircraft amid ever-increasing competition. Our prospects for years to come are very solid.
