Military districts to demonstrate their capabilities

One demonstration site of the Army 2016 Forum in Moscow region could hardly be enough to show capabilities of all types of weapons and military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces. The present events, therefore, will stand out as it arranges for demonstration programs of modern Russian weapons in all four military districts and at the Northern Fleet. 

In the Western District within the framework of the Forum itself more than a hundred units of weapons, military and special-purpose equipment in service, as well as advanced developments proposed by defense companies will demonstrate their performance and fire capabilities at the Alabino Test Site, the Kubinka Airbase and Komsomolskoe Lake.

Participants of the Forum will witness a dynamic show of modern naval weapons, military and special-purpose equipment in Saint-Petersburg and Kronshtadt. 

The equipment deployed at military bases of the Southern District will be demonstrated at a test site in Rostov region, whereas the Central Command will run the shows at the Yugra Test Site in Kemerovo region and the Roschinsky Test Site in Samara region where visitors will see various versions of the Tirg armored vehicle, the BTR-82AM armored personnel carrier, the Krasukha electronic warfare system and many more.
