Пассажиропоток Международного аэропорта Махачкала за 12 месяцев 2016 года увеличился на 23% по сравнению с аналогичным периодом прошлого года и составил 869234 пассажиров. Кроме того, всего за 12 месяцев 2016 года было произведено 7733 самолётовылетов, что на 9% выше, чем в прошлом году.
