Army 2016 Forum scales up
The II International Military-Technical Forum Army 2016 opens today in Kubinka, near Moscow. The event will last six days — two days longer than last year, when the forum was held for the first time. Its organizer — Russian Ministry of Defense has decided to extend the forum, at the request of both participants and visitors. The government and the Defense Ministry top officials will visit the forum on the opening day, September 6. In the next two days, the forum will receive professionals, foreign delegations and officials. On September 9-11, the exhibition will be open to all comers with all the most spectacular events taking place. Last year more than 200 thousand people attended the forum. The interest towards the Army turned out to be so high that it was not only extended, but also has become more extensive this year. So, the static display area located in the covered pavilion was tripled, to more than 80 thousand square meters. The forum occupies the area of over 200 thousand square meters.
